21 Pillows is an interactive exhibit that represents a wilderness morain North of Red Lake, On where the artist lives. The exhibition consists of 21 pillows tufted like from Grandmas’ couch . There are over 10,000 handmade glass rock that visitors will be able to hold and place , to create our own wilderness.
For the winter 2018 season, the Gallery will present an exhibition of the curated works of seven artists who won the RBC Award for Glass between 2008 and 2016. They are Benjamin Kikkert, Ito Laïla Le François, Aaron Oussoren, Julia Reimer, Brad Turner, Cheryl Wilson Smith, and Rachael Wong. The exhibition will feature new work by these artists, illustrating the growth in their artistic practice and output stimulated by winning the prestigious award.
The Studios of Key West kicks off its eleventh season of exhibiting the finest in local and international art by filling their galleries with work from around the world. In November, Lemonade Stand Gallery’s Small Works Show takes over the first floor Sanger Gallery.
Emerge/Evolve 2016 is the ninth in Bullseye's biennial series of exhibitions. Awards in this international juried competition include a total of $22,000 in Bullseye Glass gift cards, as well as recognition at an awards ceremony and representation in a full-color catalog. Selected award winners will be included in Emerge/Evolve 2016, a national tour culminating in an exhibition at the Bellevue Arts Museum.
Works will be judged on excellence of craftsmanship, design, and creativity, and must be made of Bullseye glasses.
