coronation day!

I am currently in Ullapool, and yes I have been in a good part of the day to watch the Coronation. I had to watch both CBC and BBC because BBC assumes you know all these people, CBC knows we don’t.

So the last few days have been a whirl wind of learning I tried to do paster casting on the beach…it id not go well. I bought gypsum instead of plaster and after 2 hrs on the beach the tide was coming in. so i scraped the still wet plaster in to gabage bags and hauled them off the beach.

But yet again the beach was stunning!

and can it be a day wasted when you are watching the water and listening to the wind.

did you know the UK has its own way of mapping coordinates? I didn’t .So after a day and 1/2 struggling to figure out what was going on …I messaged my son who finally figured it out for me. Putting these co-ordinated in google doent work . its another app!

I am going on a geo tour for the next 6 days. Hiking in the highlands learning about the geology i missed in school ( or didnt really listen to). Pete Harrison , our tour guide from THe North West Geopark has already expanded my mind exponentially!

I may not post for a few days, but we will see how it goes
